8:14PM - Antibodies

I know i have been neglecting this. I have a couple of really good ideas in the works just no time to work on them..

This is something that has been kicking around in my head the past few days. Eventually i will revisit it and turn it into more than just a few incoherent lines..

The oldest living human was celebrating his birthday.

There were people to shake hands with and movies to star in.

Today Jonathan Frakes turned eight hundred and seventy-four thousand years old.

He had seen humanity spread across the stars.

Seen them dominate a galaxy.

Destroy other forms of life in their wake.

Control and to thrive.

It was good to be human.

That night there was an envelope on John’s dresser.

The letter read as follows.

Dear John,
Humans have had their time to romp around the universe. I have let this occur mainly because I didn’t have any better ideas at the time. I was kind if ignoring you to tell the truth in the hopes that you would really just go away. Recently I have been interested in a few of the things popping up here and there. But humans keep destroying them. So I regret to inform you that tonight is the last. You have had a good run, but it’s time to get out of the way. No hard feelings, you just really don’t have the potential to get any more interesting.

The Universe

Later that night the antibodies of the galaxy removed the virus that is humanity.

8:10AM - Welcome to The Theater of Mind.

I have developed this community as a forum for writers and thinkers alike to hone their skills in the abstract, vague and vain. Push past the boundaries of genre. Dazzle us with your wit, amaze us with your creativity, and frighten us with your realism and the clarity of your visions. Don't worry about the correctness of your grammar or the fragility of your subject. You’re among friends.

If this is your first visit, send me an e-mail at s495218 at yahoo dot com, or chat me up on AIM @ stephenjh, before requesting to join. I like to know people a little before I welcome them into my home. Everyone must contribute.
